Human Atlas was founded in 2016 by Agnese Morganti and James Burt.
Agnese Morganti is a professional photographer whose work has been displayed at the the United Nations, the Asia-Europe Foreign Ministers’ Meeting, global news outlets, and major photographic awards. James Burt advises and works with governments and civil society on matters pertaining to human rights in North Korea. He is a Special Advisor to the United Kingdom’s All-Party Parliamentary Group on North Korea.
By making storytelling accessible to every human community, we wish to illuminate our common humanity and allow important messages to transcend cultural divides and linguistic borders to impact the lives of those in need.
